With that in mind, the NHS Class of 1988 has been offered the unique opportunity to provide a lasting imprint on the new NHS courtyard, a one-acre central, outdoor gathering and educational area for students and teachers. The courtyard was put in place this year, and the school is looking to develop the space by constructing an outdoor stage for its amphitheater area; staging dramatic lighting; and adding benches, tables, and pennants throughout.
This new area is already creating community and new learning space for today's Tigers, and the class of 1988 has been invited to foster those important student and teacher relationships and outdoor classroom experiences by significantly enhancing the space. The rendering of the outdoor stage is shown above; new benching and seating options may be viewed on the links below:
Please consider giving what you can; together, we will leave our legacy on the courtyard for generations of Tigers to come.
We will gather for our Saturday lunch in the courtyard, and from there, we will announce what our class has gifted.
In November 2017, the NHS Class of 1989 graciously adorned the new courtyard with a beautiful memorial bench to honor Ann Fagan Lovasz. We hope that you will visit it on the school tour, taking a moment to reflect on her beautiful life and spirit. The beloved wife of our classmate Greg Lovasz, Ann's memory is cherished as a dear friend to so many in our class.
